6. ONLINE SHOP & ORDER PROCESSING (WooCommerce)

To process orders through our online shop, we process the following personal data:

  • First Name and Last Name

  • Delivery and billing address

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Payment data (depending on the selected payment method)

  • VAT ID / USt-IdNr. (for corporate customers)

The processing of this data is necessary for the performance of the purchase contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). The data is deleted after the expiry of the legally prescribed retention periods based on commercial and tax law (generally 10 years).

7. DATA TRANSFER TO SHIPPING SERVICE PROVIDERS

For the delivery of your olive oil, we transfer the necessary data (name, address, and, if required, email address or phone number for delivery notification) to the authorized shipping service provider (e.g., DHL / DPD / UPS). This transfer is necessary for the performance of the contract and the delivery of goods (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

8. PAYMENT PROCESSING

8.1 Stripe: For payment processing, we use the Stripe service of Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, D02 H210, Ireland. With your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter, through which we inform you about our current offers and news. For sending the newsletter, we use the Mailchimp service of The Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. Your email address is transferred to and stored by Mailchimp. Mailchimp is certified according to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, thus ensuring an adequate level of data protection.
